Meet Valhalla Living's founder and owner/operator, Kim Feldborg
With a career spanning over 40 years, Kim Feldborg has established himself as a highly experienced and skilled builder. Starting as an apprentice carpenter in Denmark in 1979, Kim has worked in various countries including Greenland, Norway, Germany, and England, where he owned and operated his own building company specialising in high-end refurbishments and renovations.
In 2007, Kim relocated to New Zealand with his family and founded Valhalla Living which specialises in passive house and energy efficient builds. As a Licensed Building Practitioner and member of the Certified Builders of New Zealand Association, Kim's passion for creating energy-efficient homes drives the business, and his hands-on approach ensures each project is handled with the utmost care and expertise. He doesn't just talk the talk - Kim lives in a passive home that he built himself, and is happy to share the experience and knowledge with everyone.
